Human Sexual Ability and Its Significance
The most powerful ability within human nature (fitrat) is the sexual ability, which has reproduction as its fundamental role. Unlike animals, which are created with all functions programmed, humans are endowed with intellect, will, and intention, leaving the responsibility of managing this ability to them.
System for Managing Sexual Ability
To manage sexual ability, three elements are emphasized: general Taqwa, Iffat (chastity), and Marriage (Nikah). Scholars note this is the strongest natural ability given by birth, hence its management is critical. Allah has created a complete system for this—marriage—which comes with conditions and regulations. It is not just a command but a system, often referred to by scholars as the Family System, with marriage as its foundation.
Puberty, Marriage, and Iffat
When sexual ability awakens at puberty, the first obligatory act is marriage, which allows control of this power. If marriage is not possible, one must practice Iffat (chastity) until marriage is fulfilled. Iffat is not a replacement for marriage but a temporary plan.
Meaning of Iffat and Related Terms
Iffat does not simply mean purity, as often assumed, but rather restraint. For example, certain breeds of she-camel hold back some milk from the owner, and such a camel is called Afeefa. Similarly, a person with Iffat restrains internal passions and does not express them openly.
Hirs (greed/desire): A desire one cannot restrain.
Harisa (camel): A camel whose milk overflows drop by drop, symbolizing lack of restraint.
Harees: A person unable to conceal inner feelings.
Saaeel: Those who painfully demand from others, like beggars.
Badhee (Bazee): Speech that is shameless, indecent, or low in ethics.
Waqahat: Speaking out without regard for dignity or respect.
Traditions mention the most disliked people as the Saael, Badhee, and Waqeeh.
Need Management and Qanaat
When in need, a person should manage it through Qanaat (contentment), not by shameful begging. Expressing needs everywhere does not bring help. Quran advises helping those beggars who are Afeef (restrained) rather than those who shamelessly ask.
Marriage and Sexual Fulfillment
Iffat has both general and specific meanings. In general, it refers to restraining feelings before marriage. Within marriage, however, the relationship allows expression of needs, with its fundamental purpose being sexual fulfillment.
If marriage does not meet this purpose—such as when partners dislike each other—the system collapses. While parental approval is essential, the preferences of the boy and girl must also be respected. Parents should assess whether their choice is correct rather than blindly rejecting it.
Sexual ability differs between men and women. Allah has made man the focal point of the system, as sexual corruption often begins with men. Societies show men pursuing women, not the other way around. Unlike animals, whose desire is seasonal, human sexual ability is guided by imagination and must be controlled through marriage and chastity.
Social Contradictions in Marriage and Adultery
In society, corruption such as adultery and molestation is normalized, while legitimate marriage is stigmatized. If a youth seeks marriage, he is called shameful, but illegitimate relationships are overlooked as “normal.” This contradicts Quranic guidance which prohibits forcing young girls into adultery. Parents, by making marriage difficult, push children toward illegitimacy.
Hardships in Marriage: Iran and Pakistan
Marriage systems have been burdened with unnecessary hardships.
Iran: High dowries have made marriage difficult. Many men are imprisoned for failing to provide dowries. A phenomenon called “White Marriage” (living together without Nikah) has become common.
Pakistan: Media and schools encourage illegitimate relationships. Co-education fosters boyfriend/girlfriend culture, which is normalized as part of education.
Quran prescribes Taqwa and Chastity, yet society promotes illegitimacy as a solution.
Lessons from the People of Lut (a.s.)
Quran narrates that when guests came to Prophet Lut, the community demanded them, showing their deep corruption. Even his wife supported that system. Our situation today is worse, as parents hand over children to destruction instead of protecting them.
Wrath as a Consequence of Crimes
The Quran teaches that divine wrath is the natural outcome of crimes. Environmental destruction, dangerous industries, and unplanned housing are crimes leading to floods, droughts, and disasters. Likewise, sexual corruption also invites inevitable consequences for nations.
Divine Plan of Marriage and Satan’s Deviation
From the beginning, Allah’s plan for humanity included marriage. Adam and Hawwa were married after creation and asked to regulate this ability. Satan exploited this weakness by tempting them with the forbidden tree, which led to the exposure of their privacy.
Marriage remained the first task for humanity to live on earth, reproduce, earn Allah’s bounties, and stay protected from Satan. By abandoning this divine plan, societies adopt the corrupt system of the people of Lut, ignoring what crimes their youth commit.
SERMON 2
Collapse of the Muslim World
Today’s Muslims are in a state of deep humiliation, and the test of Gaza has exposed the reality of so-called Muslims. The idea of a “Muslim world” does not exist anymore; instead, there are only scattered communities. In fact, in some aspects, the non-Muslim world shows signs of being better.
Qatar Attack and Its Purpose
The recent event was Israel’s attack on Hamas leadership in Qatar. Leaders, including our Prime Minister, visited Qatar for condolences, and the world condemned the attack. Yet, their concern was for Qatar, not Gaza.
Qatar was used as a tool by America and Bin Salman to suppress resistance.
Seven Arab nations are now defending Israel. After October 7, the U.S. Secretary of State met with these Arab states, emphasizing that finishing Hamas and resistance movements is more important to Arabs than to Israel itself.
Many scholars in the Muslim world, including some in Iran, are not supporting resistance but working to dismantle it.
Strategy to End Resistance
America has pressured Iraq to shut down Hashad al-Shaabi, warning that otherwise America and Israel would attack. Resistance in Yemen and Iran is also under threat. These strategies are part of the last attempt to crush resistance, but as before, such plans will end in disgrace.
Qatar is not supportive of resistance. Being a U.S. base, it facilitated the attack to show Hamas leaders are unsafe anywhere.
Proof exists of Qatar’s involvement, even in the assassination attempts against Hamas leadership like Ismail Haniyeh.
Hypocrisy and Disgrace
In the past, believers and hypocrites walked together, but now the division is clear.
Qatar gifted Trump a golden jet, yet Trump demanded not gifts but submission to Israel.
Pakistan too is involved in this strategy of humiliation, part of a new regional map where Israel dominates.
Silence in the face of this humiliation equals siding with disgrace.
Two Opposing Paths: Dignity vs. Disgrace
The situation now reveals two clear paths:
The Path of Dignity – represented by resistance movements defending Muslim survival.
The Path of Disgrace – chosen by those who remain silent or submit to Zionist plans.
Those who remain silent, regardless of sect or lineage, are counted among the disgraced. Whether they claim to follow Imam Hussain (a) or stand with the legacy of Banu Umayyah and Kufis, their silence betrays them. Allah has promised that hypocrites will be humiliated through the very hands of the oppressed.
Global Alignments
China is countering U.S. strategies by strengthening ties with North Korea, presenting an alternative path.
Meanwhile, Muslim-majority nations like Pakistan and Turkey face insecurity but choose humiliation instead of dignity.
Call to Action for Pakistan and Muslims
Non-Muslims today are more active on the path of dignity than Muslims. It is time for Muslims to rise from humiliation.
Pakistan can secure its survival only through the path of dignity, not disgrace.
Turkey and Pakistan both face existential threats, yet their rulers choose disgrace.
Instead of supporting Gaza, Bin Salman is backing Qatar, selling not just his policies but even his land.
The real defenders of Pakistan and the Muslim world are Hamas and Iran. If the rulers betray this cause, it i
s the Pakistani people who must take the decisive step to stand with resistance.
